Keiko Kitty
Keiko Kitty
Keiko is now a beautiful 18 year old cat who has made her forever home here with us. She is still very healthy and happy. She loves to hang out in the back yard and sun or just sleep in her bed in the house. She is best friends with Maggie and they often sleep next to each other. They groom each other and also tag team mice when they can find one to catch. Luckily this is not very often. Keiko was a rescue from a farm when she was just a baby kitty and was a big surprise. The lady we got her from had asked if we would take a large orange tabby cat and instead she brought us Keiko. The orange tabby could not be caught which was the reason for the substitution. We fell in love with Keiko and she has been a terrific cat ever since that day. A happy playful cat even still she is a real joy.
Maggie Kitty
Maggie Kitty
Maggie is a formerly feral kitty who was trapped with her brother Lonesome Tom when she was about six months old. She was pregnant when we got her and very wild, We accepted both her and her brother into our sanctuary. It took her over a year before she began to socialize with us and the other kitties here. She had Kissie Kat during that time and we kept her too when we discovered she was blind. She is still cautious with strangers, but mothers all the new kitties we bring in.
Kissee Kat our Blind Kitty
Kissee Kat our Blind Kitty
Kissee Kat has been with us since she was born. She is the baby kitty of Maggie who was a feral cat trapped by someone and then given to us to care for. She is still really attached to her mama and meows loudly if she does not know where she is. She does really well for being a blind kitty. Comes to you if you make a sound to call her so she can locate exactly where you are. She loves to go outside and lay in the sun. She gets along really well with all of the other kitties except Cleo. Cleo seems to feel that Kissee Kat is staring at her so she swats at her. That and Cleo wants to play and Kissee Kat is older, 14 years old so she is not as playful plus she cannot see to read the signs of play from Cleo. Kissee Kat usually growls at Cleo when she hears her approaching. She is a sweet cat and loves to just hang out with us.

Baby Kitty Cleo or Cleopatra
Baby Kitty Cleo or Cleopatra
We got Cleo from a friend who had two feral mama kitties at his house with both mama kitties having babies. Cleo was rezlly sick when we got her, but we bottle fed her and
with medical care she has become a beautiful kitty all grown up now. Brown with white tummy and paws. Cleo is still feral and very afraid of any new things or people. She will become a [permanent resident as she is still very wild.

He was left at a house people moved out of and they did no take him with. He lives here now.
Merlin
Merlin
Merlin was abused, taken from his mama too early and dumped. He had a broken jaw, clipped whiskers and needed to be bottle fed when we first rescued him. Now he is a big healthy loving kitty. He has bonded with our rescue Ebony and is a permanent resident here now.
Ebony
Ebony
This is Ebony. He is formerly feral and has been here about four years.. He has badly damaged ears from untreated ear mites and many cat fights in the past. He has become pretty tame and likes to be petted. He gets along well with Merlin and Baby Kitty. He also tolerates the rest of the kitties who live here very well and is a mellow kitty now. He even lets us put Revolution on him to get rid of those darn ear mites.

Ginger Tom Kitty
Ginger Tom Kitty
Ginger Tom was a feral kitty who was trapped and brought to us here. He was very wild and very sick. We took him to the veterinarians before we let him out of his crate and got him medication and shots. Then we began to rehabilitate him. He even comes into the house now and has bonded with his fur siblings and us as long as we let him approach us.
